Frequently Asked Questiona About Interprise

1. What kind of database does Interprise Use?
Interprise uses a Microsoft FoxPro Database which is ODBC compliant.

2. How is Interprise priced?
Based upon the number of users (both employees and supervisors). STI has created packages based upon average purchases. Each package includes the Interprise software plus the SoftTime Pro Admin software. If you have a special requirement for an odd number of users, please contact us.

3. Can employees make changes to time?
Generally speaking No. Only Supervisors with the proper security for a specific department may change time, however in some cases an Employee is a Supervisor in which case Interprise can be setup to allow it.

4. How does the security in Interprise work?
There are three levels of password protected security for Interprise:1. System Administrator-has the power to make system wide changes as well as assign security levels for all other users. 2. Supervisor - has the ability to oversee all employee data in his or her department(s). Including approving requests and changing leave. 3. Employee - has the power to view his or her records and request time as well as run reports on themselves.

5. What if we have multiple locations?
No problem, Interprise can run on an Intranet or Internet. Multiple locations are generally setup with a private Internet address. Ex. 216.60.9.0/Interprise.

6. How easy is this application to upgrade?
Additional user licenses may be purchased over the phone. You will receive a new activation code which will open Interprise to the appropriate number of users.

7. Is there an SQL version available and how much is it?
Currently there is not an SQL version available. The current database has proven robust enough for as many as 50,000 users. If you feel that SQL is still necessary, please contact our sales department for a custom quote.

8. What kind of support/warranty does STI offer on this application?
Interprise applications come with a 30-day satisfaction guarantee plus 90 days of Premier Support. Additional support packages are available on a yearly rate, pease see your representative for pricing.

9. What are system requirements as far as hardware is concerned?

10. How long does this application to install?
On average an installation takes 15 - 20 minutes.
